Pre-camp preparation is not only essential but critical for you to maximize the learning and fun that goes on in the Choir Camp! Please study the scores contained in the Song Book given to you and learn your assigned part to the best of your ability, using the audio and video recordings provided.

 

As great as the songs may be, they are merely the “ingredients” for joy and happiness in choral singing. As with any recipe, a lot of work needs to be put in to turn these ingredients into delicious dishes.

 

Learning the value of commitment is a core part of the intended outcomes. As such, students are hereby asked to fill out a simple practice chart and have their parents sign and verify every time they have spent some time learning the songs. (Those who are not fully prepared may have to sit out some of the performances at the camp and work on their applauding skills instead. That is something we really do not want to see!)
